the solar lamplight

I started recording twith a tascam ps5 around 2003 or 2004.  I now use a presonus firstudio tube. in the beginning i recorded a lot of garbage, some ok stuff, and some stuff im not embarrassed about at all you decide, thanks for listening and please do shoot me an email or comment if you like something. i do as much music as i can in my spare time.

anyhow this site is run on a small offgrid solar setup i built myself around 2004. the solar cannoli cam shows the output of my MX60 charge controller (now called a flexmax, from outback systems). The charge controller handles  the 700 watts of solar PV panels (4 of the 175w sharps) that runs the web server this website is on (a small atom processor based netbook these days) .

as an artist im also a photography buff, and am a complete amateur but have fun with it.  ive posted a couple pics on flickr here too.
